Accounting Controller

The Accounting Controller will oversee accounting operations for a single-entity business, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and leading a small accounting team. This role will focus on US GAAP financial reporting, process improvement, accurate general ledger management, month-end close, internal controls, and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate, timely records.Lead the month-end close process.Maintain and strengthen internal controls.Oversee accounts payable operations.Lead and support the small accounting team.Drive accounting process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in accounting controllership.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.Experience with general ledger accounting and internal controls.Leadership experience.
