Job purpose/summary:
As Brand Manager, you will assist the Marketing Activation Manager in acting as guardian for our core Stoves, Belling & Lec Medical brands. Together, you will be responsible for the health and strategic direction of these brands, as well as the implementation of the marketing activation plan.
With a focus on the consumer, you will oversee brand growth in line with strategic objectives, utilising all elements of the marketing mix.
This is a high profile role within the business and will require interaction with stakeholders internally and externally including, but not limited to: Category, Sales, I&D, CX, Manufacturing, Retail Partners, PR Agencies, Creative Agencies, and In-house Design.
From content creation to campaign management, the role of the Brand Manager is fundamental to GDHA’s growth ambitions and will drive consumer demand, lead generation, market positioning, brand awareness via digital and non-digital marketing channels, and through both the optimisation of communication, and development of a creative and innovative cross platform strategy.
Key Accountabilities and decision ownership:
Recommending strategies to position the brands for growthWorking with agencies and in-house teams to design and supervise content such as press releases, artwork, print and digital mediaResponsible for maintenance, development and reporting of owned digital channels – Social Media, Branded websites and CRMMonitoring the performance of a brand through key performance indicators (KPI)Achieving profit targets, timelines and budgetsOrganising online and offline content for product launches and promotional eventsAssisting in the creation of in-store marketing displays and POSWorking with advertising agencies to manage and report on the brand’s marketing campaignsMaintaining and growing the brands’ affiliations and partnerships (Including consumer & Trade Events)Maximising contact with business managers and retail partners to drive trade marketing activities in line with brand objectivesBea gate keeper of the brands, ensuring that all communication is “on brand” and aligns with creative and brand guidelinesPersonal Attributes

Must have:
Proven experience developing, executing and managing successful communications strategies to drive growth/sales.Experience in working within the consumer decision journey framework and a deep expertise in defining/developing audience segments and successfully reaching and engaging them.Organised with strong project management skills, coordinating across multiple activities & teams to consistently deliver quality projects on time and within budget.Strong digital & website management knowledge is essential including Google Analytics and Meta Business Manager experienceHigh level of understanding of how owned/paid digital & non-digital marketing channels work and can be leveraged and optimised.Ability to understand, analyse, interpret and leverage data to determine trends and optimise content, media, messaging and audiences accordingly.Ability to write/present effective and clear Media/Marketing briefs.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with experience working with and managing internal & external stakeholders of all levels and across all departments.Preferred:
Proven track record of increasing both brand awareness and company revenue through online and offline communication channels.Ability to think critically and creatively.Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.Media planning and overseeing media buying experience.Strong UK market experience and knowledge.Experience working with/on owned E-Commerce platforms.Cross-market experience is beneficial although not requiredConsumer Appliances experience is advantageousJob Type: Full-time
