Contracts Manager – Residential & Commercial (Northern Ireland)

A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team, based in their Dungannon office. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional to take a leading role in the delivery of multiple residential and commercial projects across Northern Ireland with a busy and expanding contractor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of several live projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. This role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in residential and/or commercial construction within the UK or Irish markets.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of multiple residential and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Manage site management teams, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders across multiple sites
• Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and in line with company quality standards
• Coordinate project planning, sequencing, and resource allocation across several live contracts
• Monitor construction progress and proactively address issues impacting delivery or programme
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and senior management teams
• Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company compliance standards
• Review project performance including budgets, procurement, forecasting, and reporting
• Drive quality assurance and ensure works are delivered to specification and client expectations
• Support the commercial and operational success of all projects under your control

Requirements

Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable)
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience within the construction industry
• Previous experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role is essential
• Strong background in residential and/or commercial building projects
• UK or Irish construction experience required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Strong commercial awareness with proven programme management ability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneously

What’s on Offer

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 (€80,000 – €90,000 approx.) DOE
• Office-based role in Dungannon with oversight of regional projects across Northern Ireland
• Opportunity to join a well-established and growing main contractor
• Strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects
