Data Scientist – AI, Causal ML & Measurement

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to develop innovative solutions across Generative AI, causal ML, experimentation, and measurement. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who can take data science solutions from research through production and connect technical insights to measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Gen AI solutions, including LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows.Apply causal inference, causal ML, and econometric methods to measure business and customer impact.Build and scale production-quality ML, experimentation, and measurement pipelines.Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate problems into data science solutions.Use methodologies such as CATE, DiD, matching, and heterogeneous treatment effects.Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and bring relevant innovations into production.Serve as a technical resource and mentor to team members.

Qualifications

3+ years of applied data science experience.Strong Python, SQL, and Git skills.Hands-on Generative AI experience.Experience with causal inference/causal ML and econometrics.Experience with Azure, Databricks, or similar platforms.Experience developing production ML solutions using software engineering best practices.Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business impact.Comfortable working in ambiguous, evolving environments.
