Mackie Myers has partnered with an established Oxford based business to appoint a Finance Analyst to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a collaborative organisation, working closely with finance and operational teams and gaining broad exposure across financial analysis, reporting and planning.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play an important role in providing financial insight and analysis to support business performance and decision-making. You will work across a range of reporting, planning and analytical activities, helping to ensure the business has clear, accurate and timely financial information.

Main DutiesPrepare regular financial analysis and management informationAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planningProduce reporting and analysis for senior stakeholdersReview financial performance and identify key trends and variancesWork closely with finance and wider business teams to understand performanceDevelop and maintain financial models and analytical toolsProvide analysis to support commercial and operational decisionsAssist with ad hoc financial projects and business analysisIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial informationSupport the wider finance team with ongoing analysis and reporting requirementsThe Successful CandidateACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedPrevious experience within FP&A, financial analysis or commercial financeStrong Excel and financial modelling skillsExperience working within an international or multi-entity environment would be advantageousAnalytical and commercially aware with good attention to detailConfident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholdersAble to work collaboratively across different areas of the businessComfortable working with stakeholders across different functions and locationsWhat's on Offer?£60,000 - £65,000 salaryBonus and competitive benefits packageHybrid workingBroad exposure across the businessOpportunity to work closely with senior stakeholdersStrong development and progression opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative finance environment
