Financial Analyst

Finance Analyst – FX | Up to £550/day | Derby | Hybrid

I’m working with a major global engineering organisation looking to appoint an experienced Finance Analyst for an initial 12-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This is a technically focused finance role where foreign exchange reporting and revaluation experience is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

Quarterly FX revaluation and reportingFX deliverables for external audit, Group and key stakeholdersPeriod-end journals, operating costs, recharges and central accrualsBalance sheet reviews and presentation of findingsSupporting financial control queries and investigationsFinance projects and process improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMAMinimum 3 years’ PQEStrong hands-on FX / foreign exchange reporting and revaluation experienceStrong financial reporting, controls and period-end experienceAdvanced ExcelSAP/HFM or experience with another major ERP/reporting system

Derby – 3 days per week on-site, increasing to 4 during statutory reporting periods

Up to £550 per day Umbrella

Up to 12 months, with likelihood of extension

37 hours per week

Given the specialist FX requirement, we’re very happy to consider candidates from outside the immediate Derby/East Midlands area who can commit to the on-site requirement.
