Reporting to senior asset management executives, the role demands a strategic architect to design and implement supply chain frameworks that enhance cost visibility and operational accountability across multiple business units. The company operates a vast network supporting clean energy infrastructure, offering a chance to influence procurement strategies in a sector where project-based financial oversight and vendor partnerships are critical.

Title: Head of Supply Chain / Senior Purchasing & Procurement Manager

Location: Denver Metro Area

Responsibilities:

Establish and refine end-to-end supply chain processes that ensure seamless coordination between business units, operations, finance, and vendor management.Leverage organizational scale to negotiate competitive pricing and favorable contract terms across all procurement activities.Build and lead a purchasing and procurement team, developing workflows that align purchase orders with project schedules and operational demands.Implement real-time tracking of purchase order commitments to improve cost accounting accuracy prior to invoice receipt.Manage vendor relationships, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure adherence to procurement policies and compliance standards.Collaborate with accounts payable and finance teams to optimize vendor partnerships and integrate procurement data into budgeting and forecasting.Drive the deployment of the purchasing module within the ERP system, coordinating with IT, finance, operations, and project stakeholders to support data analytics and supplier performance monitoring.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.Minimum of 7 years in procurement and purchasing leadership, with experience in project-driven environments such as construction or maintenance services.Proven ability to lead supply chain transformations and implement new systems or processes.Hands-on expertise with ERP platforms supporting purchasing and job costing, preferably within industrial or energy sectors.Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration across cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and IT.Willingness and ability to travel as needed for site visits and vendor engagements.

Nice-to-Have:

MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.Experience within renewable energy or related clean technology industries.Familiarity with financial reporting standards and cost tracking methodologies in project-based accounting.
