Job Description

Our client is looking for a passionate Marketing Manager to support their rapidly expanding company by developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for their entire organization, as well as nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy and goals, as well as develop a media relations strategyDirect social media to engage audiences across traditional and new mediaCreate content for press releasesManage and create all posts for social mediaMaintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related fieldPrevious Cannabis Industry experienceSolid experience with social media, including: blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.Experience working in a flexible, small to medium sized company without marketing staff on the same levelExpert in the internet and social media strategy with a demonstrated track record on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets that are significant in company outreachExcellent communication skillsHigh developed, demonstrated teamwork skillsAbility to think creatively and innovativeThrives in a start-up environment - adaptable, can handle ambiguity, be flexibleAnalytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges within the Cannabis IndustryStrong sense of urgencyHighly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
