Project Manager – Cross-Functional Initiatives

Summary

I’m looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Manager to support and structure multiple cross-functional initiatives across the organization.

This role will support projects spanning areas such as IT, Data & AI, Marketing, Leadership, Operations, and other business functions. The primary responsibility is to bring structure, visibility, and accountability to projects from planning and task breakdown through execution, follow-up, and completion.

This is an execution-focused role for someone who is comfortable managing multiple projects, coordinating across departments, and making sure priorities continue moving forward.

Role Structure

You will work directly with project and department leaders to:

• Organize and structure active initiatives

• Build and maintain master project trackers and project plans

• Break down strategic initiatives into clear tasks, owners, timelines, and milestones

• Track deliverables, dependencies, decisions, and follow-ups

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments

• Track external vendor deliverables and commitments

• Monitor project timelines and rollout schedules

• Identify overdue items, risks, and blockers requiring attention

• Prepare concise weekly project status summaries

• Maintain meeting notes, action items, and next steps

• Drive accountability and execution across multiple initiatives

Depending on the project, interaction may include:

• Following up with department leaders and project owners

• Coordinating deliverables between multiple departments

• Coordinating with external vendors, consultants, agencies, and technology partners

• Supporting project meetings and documenting decisions and action items

• Supporting rollout and internal communication plans

The core focus is project organization, coordination, follow-through, and accountability.

Healthcare & Compliance Context

This role operates within a HIPAA-regulated healthcare environment.

• HIPAA awareness is required

• HIPAA training will be provided by the company

• Comfort working in a regulated environment with structured governance is essential

• Appropriate handling of confidential and sensitive business information is required

Department and project leaders will own strategy and subject matter decisions. The Project Manager will help turn those decisions into organized plans, clear ownership, timelines, follow-ups, and completed deliverables.

Time Commitment

• Approximately 8 hours per week

• Weekly sync plus ongoing project tracking and follow-up

• Flexible schedule, but responsiveness and consistent follow-through are important
