[Remote] Business Analyst Contractor: 3-5 years (Intermediate)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The confidential company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives in shipment tracking, reputed company, and transportation platforms. The role will enhance shipment visibility, real-time tracking, data flow, and operational insights while collaborating with transportation, supply chain, data, IT teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for Shipment Tracking ,reputed company, and supply chain visibility solutionsLead requirements, process analysis, and enhancement efforts for Shipment Tracking and Visibility initiativesPartner with transportation and logistics teams to improve shipment tracking accuracy, milestone visibility, alerting, and reportingWork closely with visibility vendors (e.g., Project 44) to identify issues, assess new features, support integration improvements, and manage solution enhancementsAnalyze upstream and downstream system impacts within visibility, TMS(transportation management systems, WMS(Warehouse Management Systems), and carrier integrations ( ODFL, reputed company, reputed company, any new Fleet provider integrations)Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, demos, and retrospectivesDrive capacity planning and capacity prediction to ensure realistic sprint commitmentsFacilitate alignment among Product Owners, developers, and testers to ensure Shipment Tracking and visibility initiatives progress predictablyPrepare and maintain clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria that support visibility platform enhancementsExecute comprehensive business analysis processes, including requirements elicitation and documentationCoordinate and lead UAT for Shipment Tracking, and other visibility-related deliverablesSupport functional testing as required for visibility and shipment tracking enhancementsSupport production deployments, release activities, and post-deployment validation as neededServe as liaison across IT, business stakeholders, and external partners
Skills

5+ years of Business Analysis experience3–5 years of experience in Agile environments with user story and acceptance criteria developmentStrong analytical and project management skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across business and IT teamsProficiency with reputed company Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Jira and OutlookAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience Transportation, Logistics, reputed company, or other shipment visibility toolsUnderstanding of real-time tracking, carrier integrations, milestone events, shipment exceptions, and visibility analyticsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
