The role involves establishing quality standards, developing evaluation criteria, and reviewing both AI-generated and human design work to ensure high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

Evaluate realistic digital product and user-experience deliverablesReview responsive interfaces, dashboards, customer portals, and complex product experiencesAssess end-to-end flows such as onboarding, checkout, booking, and account managementEvaluate interaction design, visual hierarchy, usability, accessibility, and overall product qualityDetermine whether proposed solutions meet the expectations of real users and production environmentsAssess design systems, component libraries, patterns, and reusable interface elementsEvaluate consistency across components, states, layouts, and responsive breakpointsReview the scalability and practical usability of design-system decisionsAssess whether interfaces follow coherent interaction and visual-design principlesIdentify inconsistencies, usability issues, and production-readiness concernsDevelop precise, task-specific grading criteria for digital product design workDefine standards that distinguish strong professional design from incomplete or superficial solutionsScore AI-generated and human work samples against established criteriaProvide detailed written justification for evaluation decisionsApply consistent, evidence-based judgment so assessments remain reproducible and defensibleReview prototypes and end-to-end product journeysEvaluate UX writing, product content, and interface communication where relevantAssess Figma-based design and design-to-engineering handoffReview specifications, component behaviour, responsive states, and implementation readinessIncorporate structured reviewer feedback and refine evaluations efficiently
Skills

At least 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX, product design, or design systemsExperience designing real digital products rather than primarily brand or marketing websitesBackground in product-led companies, digital-product studios, e-commerce, marketplaces, SaaS, or comparable environmentsStrong expertise in interaction design and visual designExperience creating or maintaining design systems and component librariesHands-on experience designing responsive interfaces and complex product flowsStrong proficiency with Figma and production handoff workflowsAbility to articulate detailed design critique at a senior professional levelExcellent written communication and attention to detailA degree in interaction design, product design, UX design, human-computer interaction, digital design, or a related discipline may be helpfulEquivalent professional experience in digital product design may also be consideredA strong portfolio demonstrating substantial work on real digital products is particularly valuableExperience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, UI Designer, UX Lead, or Design Systems DesignerBackground in UX writing or content designExperience with sophisticated customer portals, dashboards, or transactional productsFamiliarity with e-commerce or marketplace experiencesExperience reviewing or mentoring other designersStrong knowledge of prototyping and interaction patternsExperience collaborating closely with product managers and engineering teamsPrior experience with AI training, evaluation, structured review, or human-data projects
