Job Summary
The Senior Digital Account Executive is responsible for planning and executing digital fundraising campaigns, including: participating in campaign kick-offs, developing campaign strategy and writing strategy memos, drafting or reviewing email copy, participating in art kickoff meetings and providing creative oversight, analyzing campaign results and reporting out in client meetings, working closely with Digital Production staff on quality control procedures. The Senior Digital Account Executive is also charged with writing campaign reports and drafting budgets. The Senior Account Executive should have a detailed understanding of direct response fundraising and how digital and mail work together to achieve the client’s goals.
Responsibilities
Builds and maintains strong relationship with clients and manages day-to-day communications with the client.
Manages the production schedule to ensure that all campaigns go out on time.
Develops individual campaign strategy and writes strategy memos.
Works on multiple copywriting projects at once, maintaining strong quality and adhering to the schedules.
Oversees creative, collaborating with the Art Department to deliver compelling and innovative creative to clients
Monitors results in real time, ensuring results are updated in Insight or PowerBI, and may report out to clients on campaign results
Creates narrative campaign reports with analysis and recommendations for review by a senior member of the team
Drafts annual client budget to be reviewed by a senior member of the team
Collaborates with clients, internal teams, digital production and ads, the art and analytics departments and outside vendors to deliver innovative campaigns.
Attends training sessions including company seminars as well as industry events and conferences, in consultation with supervisor.
Stays abreast of industry trends, digital fundraising tools
Performs other duties as assigned. .
Qualifications
5 years’ experience in fundraising and/or digital media
Detailed knowledge of direct response fundraising and digital campaign executive, including analysis and budgeting
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and digital copywriting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

We are located south of Dupont Circle in Washington, DC. The position is offered in either a Hybrid, On-site, or *remote capacity.
