Senior Financial Analyst – Finance Business Partnering Team
We are seeking a proactive and analytically minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Business Partnering team. You'll work closely with Finance Business Partners and business stakeholders to provide high-quality financial insight, reporting and investment governance support that enables informed decision-making and improves organisational performance.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop commercial understanding and business awareness whilst building strong analytical expertise across portfolios.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Providing financial analysis and insight to support budgeting, forecasting and planning processesProducing high-quality management information, reporting and dashboards that help stakeholders understand performance and make informed decisionsAnalysing financial and operational performance to identify risks and opportunitiesSupporting the development and review of investment business cases and financial modelsCoordinating Programme Performance & Change (PPC) activities and maintaining Post Investment Reviews (PIRs)Tracking delivery against approved business case assumptions and benefits.Building effective relationships with managers, project leads and budget holders to provide financial support and challengeIdentifying opportunities to simplify, and improve finance processes, reporting and management information
What We're Looking For You To Bring
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilityExperience in financial analysis, reporting and performance managementAbility to translate complex data into meaningful business insight for both financial and non-financial audiencesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsConfidence to ask questions and support decision-makingExcellent Excel skills, with Power BI experience desirableA proactive and curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvementStudying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience

Location & working pattern
