About the Client: Our client is a highly successful, global quantitative investment manager. They rely on a scientific approach to trading, combining vast amounts of data with advanced technology to find alpha across multiple liquid asset classes. They operate with a collaborative, research-driven mindset and invest heavily in their core engineering teams.

The Role & Landscape: You will join the core technology team responsible for the platform that handles real-time and end-of-day pricing and risk calculations across the firm.
• Design and build highly concurrent, low-latency services in C++ on Linux.
• Integrate complex pricing models developed by the quant team into the production trading environment.
• Work on distributed systems architecture, ensuring the platform scales to handle massive market data volumes.
• Collaborate directly with traders, risk managers, and operations to solve critical business problems.
• Potential to expand scope into order management, trade lifecycle, and market data systems.

What We Are Looking For:
• Strong background in C/C++ development (4+ years), ideally within a front or middle office trading environment.
• Deep expertise in building low-latency, high-throughput systems on Linux using STL.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex multithreaded and distributed applications.
• Comfortable working with Python.
• Ideally, you have an understanding of pricing models and asset classes (Equities, Futures, Options, Swaps).
• Excellent communication skills—you must be comfortable interacting directly with the business.
