Software Test Engineer – Digital Health

Our client is seeking a Software Test Engineer I to support Digital Health products. This role combines manual testing, verification and validation documentation, and test automation to help deliver reliable software supporting connected healthcare technologies.

You will work closely with engineers, feature owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to advance existing technologies and support new product development. The team is looking to schedule interviews as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with lead engineers and feature owners to understand software requirements and acceptance criteria.Participate in Scrum teams and functional reviews to define appropriate test coverage for new and existing features.Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test protocols.Manually execute test protocols, document results, and collect test evidence.Create verification and validation documentation in accordance with established software development and testing procedures.Contribute to test automation development and deliver assigned testing activities on schedule.Manage assigned test scope and communicate testing progress, issues, and results to project stakeholders.Support product quality through thorough testing and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.At least 1 year of relevant experience in software testing, quality assurance, or software verification and validation.Experience with manual testing and creating or executing test cases, scenarios, or protocols.Ability to produce clear test documentation and maintain accurate evidence of test execution.Familiarity with test automation and software development processes.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work onsite.
