ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented US-based Software Engineer to join our engineering team and lead the design, development, and scaling of robust backend services and web applications. In this role, you will take technical ownership of end-to-end software architecture, build high-performance APIs, optimize database operations, and integrate modern cloud services to power complex client applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services, microservices, and web applications.

Architect and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.

Optimize application performance, system reliability, data structures, and database query efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, UI/UX design, and front-end engineering) to turn product requirements into technical implementations.

Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and maintain technical documentation.

Ensure high standards of application security, data protection, and system monitoring.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must be based in the United States (US-based applicants only; other nationalities will be rejected).

Proven software engineering experience building and deploying production-grade applications.

Strong expertise in modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, or Java).

Solid understanding of database design, management, and query optimization (SQL and NoSQL like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).

Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD workflows, and unit/integration testing frameworks.

Strong grasp of core computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, system design).

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue.js).

Experience with serverless architectures, event-driven messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or AI/LLM API integrations.

Background in system security, OWASP guidelines, and compliance standards.
