Web / UI Designer — Figma

We’re a growing web development agency looking for a talented Web / UI Designer to work with us on an ongoing basis.

We primarily build and manage WordPress and Shopify websites for established brands and businesses. We’re looking for someone who can take a project brief, existing brand guidelines, content, and examples and turn them into polished, modern website designs in Figma.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing full websites and landing pages in Figma

Redesigning and improving existing websites

Creating desktop, tablet, and mobile-responsive layouts

Building reusable Figma components and design systems

Designing e-commerce pages, including homepages, collection pages, PDPs, landing pages, and promotional sections

Working within existing brand guidelines while still bringing creative ideas to the table

Taking rough wireframes, references, or direction and turning them into finished designs

Making revisions based on client/team feedback

Preparing organized Figma files for developer handoff

What We're Looking For

You should have strong experience designing real websites that will actually be developed, not just conceptual UI work.

We're looking for someone who:

Is highly proficient in Figma

Has a strong portfolio of modern website design

Understands responsive web design

Understands spacing, typography, hierarchy, grids, and consistency

Knows how to use components, variants, Auto Layout, and Figma styles properly

Understands the limitations and realities of web development

Has experience designing for WordPress and/or Shopify

Can work with an existing design system instead of reinventing everything

Can take direction but also make good design decisions independently

Communicates well and can reliably meet deadlines

Keeps Figma files clean, organized, and developer-friendly

Big Plus

Experience with any of the following is a bonus:

Shopify / e-commerce design

WordPress website design

Conversion-focused landing pages

UX/UI

Design systems

Accessibility / WCAG

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS

Working directly with developers

How We Work

We’re a small team, so we're looking for someone we can build a long-term working relationship with.

Projects can range from a single landing page to a complete website redesign. Sometimes you'll receive detailed creative direction, while other times we'll give you the brand, content, goals, and references and expect you to take the lead creatively.

We care about good design, speed, communication, and practical execution. The goal isn't just to make something that looks great in Figma — it needs to translate into a great website.
