About the Opportunity

A leading AI-focused organization is seeking experienced Compliance Attorneys to contribute their legal expertise to the development and evaluation of next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will apply your knowledge of regulatory compliance, legal analysis, risk assessment, and legal writing to evaluate, improve, and create high-quality legal content used in AI training and evaluation.

This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with experience in compliance, regulatory law, risk management, financial services regulation, healthcare compliance, corporate compliance, privacy, or related legal disciplines. You will help ensure that AI-generated legal content reflects accurate legal reasoning, regulatory requirements, and real-world compliance practices.

The work is fully remote, flexible, and focused on practical legal and regulatory applications. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, review, and evaluate legal documents, compliance materials, policies, and regulatory content.Assess AI-generated legal and compliance outputs for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and legal soundness.Draft detailed explanations, rationales, and responses to complex compliance and regulatory scenarios.Review content for alignment with U.S. compliance standards, regulatory frameworks, and legal best practices.Identify legal risks, ambiguities, inconsistencies, and potential compliance concerns.Develop realistic compliance scenarios, questions, and reference solutions for AI training purposes.Provide structured written feedback and recommendations to improve legal and regulatory content.Collaborate remotely with project stakeholders and subject-matter experts on legal evaluation tasks.Contribute to the ongoing refinement of AI training datasets and evaluation methodologies.Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.Active attorney license in good standing within at least one U.S. jurisdiction.3+ years of substantive experience practicing compliance, regulatory, risk, or related areas of law.Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory and compliance frameworks.Experience reviewing legal documents, compliance programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory materials.Excellent legal writing, analytical reasoning, and critical-thinking skills.Strong written and verbal English communication abilities.Ability to work independently in a remote environment.Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.Preferred Qualifications

3–10+ years of recent compliance law experience.Experience in financial services, healthcare, privacy, corporate compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), regulatory investigations, or similar practice areas.Judicial clerkship experience.Experience teaching law, legal writing, or compliance-related subjects.Editorial experience with legal journals or professional legal publications.Experience reviewing, drafting, or managing compliance programs and regulatory frameworks.Familiarity with legal technology, AI-assisted legal tools, or content evaluation workflows.Experience supervising legal research, legal writing, or compliance review teams.Compensation
