We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join an Operations Finance team based in Girvan.

The Role

Working in partnership with Finance and Operations teams, you will develop a strong understanding of operational performance, financial drivers and key business risks. You will provide meaningful financial insight and constructive challenge to support both operational and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing monthly operational financial results, including cost performance, overheads and key KPIsProviding variance analysis and identifying trends, risks and opportunitiesSupporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planningProducing ad-hoc financial analysis to support business cases, investment decisions, cost initiatives and operational improvementsBuilding effective relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholdersSupporting strong financial controls and data integrityIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes, automation and overall financial insightSupporting wider continuous improvement and change initiatives within FinanceAbout You

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be:

A fully qualified accountant, ideally CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalentAn excellent relationship builder with a strong stakeholder-focused approachConfident working with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersStrong analytically, with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate meaningful insightsCommercially minded and comfortable providing constructive challengeInterested in improving reporting, processes and ways of workingAlready hold the right to work in the UKLocation & Working Pattern

Due to the location and working pattern, applicants should ensure they can comfortably commute to Girvan on this basis before applying.
