The UX Designer will lead user research and product discovery efforts, collaborating with various teams to create user-centered experiences for web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
Lead user research activities, including customer interviews, stakeholder interviews, surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiry, and prototype validationPartner with Product Managers, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand business objectives, user needs, and product requirementsLead product discovery efforts to identify customer pain points, unmet needs, opportunities, and experience improvementsSynthesize research findings into personas, journey maps, service blueprints, experience maps, and actionable recommendationsDefine information architecture, navigation structures, workflows, and interaction models for complex web and mobile applicationsCreate user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and low- to mid-reputed company prototypes using reputed company and other UX toolsFacilitate design thinking workshops, discovery sessions, and collaborative ideation activities with stakeholders and cross-functional teamsApply user-centered design methodologies to rapidly test, iterate, and refine solutions based on user feedback and business prioritiesEstablish hypotheses, success metrics, and validation plans to assess the effectiveness of proposed experiencesIdentify usability issues and experience gaps and develop thoughtful, scalable solutions that improve customer outcomesAdvocate for accessibility, usability, and customer-centered decision making throughout the product development lifecycleCollaborate closely with UI Designers to ensure research insights and intended interactions are accurately reflected in final visual designsCommunicate research findings, design recommendations, project status, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders and leadershipStay current with UX research methodologies, design trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices
Skills
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Information Science, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field5–7 years of professional experience in UX research, product discovery, interaction design, information architecture, usability testing, and experience designDemonstrated experience conducting customer research, synthesizing findings, and translating insights into actionable product and design recommendationsExperience leading end-to-end UX activities from discovery and research through validation and deliveryExperience creating user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and information architecture for complex digital productsHands-on experience with usability testing, accessibility reviews, and evidence-based design practicesExperience partnering with product management, technology teams, and business stakeholders in Agile development environmentsStrong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX research, product discovery, interaction design, information architecture, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing across web and mobile applicationsDeep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, interaction design, and experience design best practicesExperience planning, facilitating, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user researchStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, insights, opportunities, and root causes through customer research and behavioral dataProficiency with reputed company and modern UX design and prototyping toolsAbility to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and effective user experiencesUnderstanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and inclusive design practicesAbility to influence product strategy and decision-making through customer insights and evidence-based recommendationsExcellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teamsSelf-directed, reputed company, and comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving prioritiesExperience with accessibility standards and WCAG complianceExperience building or contributing to enterprise design systems and reusable interaction patternsExpe
