The Managing Consultant will serve as a subject-matter expert and coach for acute care hospitals, analyzing clinical quality data, identifying performance gaps, and designing and implementing evidence-based improvement strategies. The role partners with hospital leaders to improve patient care, quality outcomes, regulatory readiness, and public quality performance.ResponsibilitiesServe as a subject matter expert on hospital quality, patient safety, and evidence-based clinical practices engagementsAnalyze and interpret clinical quality data from sources such as CMS Care Compare, NHSN, QNet, and internal hospital systems to identify performance gapsDesign and implement client workplans plans that address issues such as infection prevention, sepsis care, surgical quality, complications, mortality, and readmissionsSupport regulatory readiness by helping hospitals understand and meet requirements related to State health departments, CMS and other oversight bodiesSupport hospitals in optimizing performance on national quality scorecards, including CMS Care Compare and other public reporting programsTranslate complex data into actionable insights for hospital leaders and frontline teamsMonitor progress and evaluate outcomes of improvement initiatives using quantitative and qualitative measuresPartner with multidisciplinary hospital leaders nursing, physicians, quality teams, operations, and executives to align improvement strategies with organizational goalsFacilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure consistent adoption of evidence-based practicesLead or support quality committees, workgroups, and performance-improvement teams within client hospitalSkillsW****illing to travel consistently (50% - 75%), depending on project requirements and client expectations, is required for this position* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in acute care quality, hospital regulatory reporting, infection prevention, and/or hospital performance improvement* Bachelor's degree required in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a closely related field* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex quality and regulatory data* Experienced hospital quality leader with expertise in preoperative clinic workflows surgery operations, supply chain, and/OR culture development* Adept at engaging effectively with all levels of the organization, including frontline surgical staff, surgeons, anesthesia teams, other medical staff, and senior executives* Strong understanding of public quality scorecards particularly surgery-related metrics, surgery performance metrics, and regulatory expectations* Skilled in prioritization, operational alignment, and driving measurable improvements in patient readiness, surgery safety, and overall perioperative efficiency* Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills to support the hospital's clinical and operational teamCandidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship* Advanced degree (MPH, MHA, MSN, MBA, or similar) preferred but not required* Professional certification such as CPHQ, CIC, or Lean/Six reputed company strongly preferred* Demonstrated knowledge of CMS public reporting programs, NHSN surveillance, and QNet/QualityNet data submission preferredCompany Overviewreputed company combines world-leading academic credentials with world-tested business expertise, purpose-built for agility and connectivity, which sets us apart—and gets our clients ahead.
