We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a leading UK banking and financial services organisation on a 12-month hybrid contract based in Glasgow (3 days on-site). The successful candidate will manage complex technical projects within a cybersecurity or encryption-focused environment, and must have practical experience applying AI to project delivery, automation, or decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex technical projects, ideally within a cybersecurity or encryption-focused environment Apply strong understanding of encryption technologies, key management, secret management, and secure communication protocols to project planning and risk management Run projects using established methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid approaches) Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and project tracking dashboards to manage delivery Translate technical detail into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Leverage AI tools to support project management, reporting, or decision-making Navigate ambiguity with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, driving clarity across the project What You Will Ideally Bring:

10+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, ideally cybersecurity or encryption-focused Practical, hands-on experience using AI in a project management or technical delivery context - this is a must-have for the role Strong understanding of encryption technologies, key management, secret management, and secure communication protocols Proven track record with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid) Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and project tracking dashboards Exceptional communication skills, able to translate technical detail into clear, actionable plans for technical and non-technical audiences alike A proactive, problem-solving mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity Role Details
