C# .NET Tech Lead - HKD 1.3M - Perm | Hong Kong, HK

Role Overview
We are seeking a Hands-On Technical Lead to oversee the development of our core financial risk and valuation software. In this role, you will manage the full software lifecycle. You will collaborate directly with financial markets personnel and global tech groups to deliver high-quality, reliable code.

Core Responsibilities
• Project Leadership: Manage the full design, development, and launch of major software updates.
• Technical Guidance: Act as the main technical advisor for local developers. You will set standards for architecture, code reviews, and engineering practices.
• Collaboration: Partner with financial analysts and business users to turn complex financial requirements into clean software solutions.
• Software Development: Write high-quality C# .NET code for critical system components.
• System Maintenance: Maintain system uptime, scale application infrastructure, and lead troubleshooting efforts for critical production issues.
• Global Alignment: Work with international tech teams to keep local systems aligned with global corporate infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
• Industry Background: Strong history of building software for fast-paced financial markets or trading environments.
• Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of C# and modern .NET tools. You must understand system performance tuning and memory management.
• Architecture Skills: Deep understanding of object-oriented design, distributed software networks, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Ownership: Proven ability to manage large software releases and solve complex system bugs.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to influence tech choices and connect with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior work on financial risk calculators, pricing engines, or trading applications.
• Basic understanding of fixed-income instruments, interest rates, and foreign exchange products.
• Experience collaborating with international teams across different time zones.
