FP&A Insight Analyst

Annual Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Location: Chester - Hybrid working pattern
Job Type: Contract – 12 Month Maternity

We are seeking an FP&A Insight Analyst to join our client on a maternity leave cover basis. This role is crucial for diving deep into our data across the business, identifying opportunities and challenges, and providing actionable insights to guide strategic decisions. If you have a knack for understanding complex data and turning it into clear recommendations, this could be role for you!

Day-to-day of the role:

Lead focused analysis on trading performance, potential, investment, and other commercial questions.
Integrate financial and operational data to identify patterns, test assumptions, and clarify drivers of results.
Collaborate with Operations and the wider FP&A team to tailor analysis around key decision-making needs.
Present findings in a clear and confident manner, making complex information accessible to non-finance stakeholders.
Manage projects from inception to delivery, ensuring thorough and practical recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with a persistent curiosity to explore data.
Ability to deliver accurate, thoughtful work quickly, prioritise effectively, and drive projects to completion.
Advanced Excel skills, capable of handling complex data sets and creating clear, reliable analyses.
Sound commercial judgement to identify truly impactful findings.
Confidence in working with stakeholders, able to challenge assumptions constructively and explain conclusions simply.
