The job in a nutshell:

Essentially, you’ll take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple mechanical building services projects, predominantly across Northern Ireland with work in ROI where required.

This is a proper Contracts Manager position – you’ll have ownership from pre-construction right through to commissioning and final handover, making sure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

Managing multiple live mechanical projectsLeading Site Managers, Supervisors and EngineersOverseeing HVAC, pipework, public health and mechanical installationsManaging project programmes, labour and resourcesWorking alongside QS teams to control budgets and profitabilityManaging variations, procurement and subcontractorsChairing progress meetings and maintaining client relationshipsCoordinating with electrical, construction and design teamsOverseeing commissioning and project handoverMaintaining strong Health & Safety and quality standards

Should you apply?

If you’re an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with a strong background delivering building services projects, this should be worth a conversation.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Significant mechanical building services experienceStrong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and public health systemsExperience managing subcontractors and direct labourStrong commercial awarenessExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong client-facing and communication skillsDegree/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent experienceFull UK driving licence

Experience with BIM, Procore, Microsoft Project, NEC/JCT contracts, SMSTS, CSCS Management, IOSH or NEBOSH would also be advantageous.
