As part of our growth in Hong Kong, we are expanding our property-backed lending business to support SMEs with their working capital, business expansion and refinancing needs.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Business Development Manager to originate property-backed loan opportunities from SMEs in Hong Kong.

This is a front-line acquisition role for an established property-financing professional with a strong origination track record and referral network. You will manage opportunities from prospecting and assessment through credit approval and drawdown.

Key Responsibilities

Originate property-backed loan opportunities from SMEs in Hong Kong.

Develop leads through direct prospecting and referral partners, including brokers, accountants, lawyers, property agents and bankers.

Assess customers’ financing needs, financial position, repayment capacity and property collateral.

Structure transactions and prepare credit proposals for internal approval.

Coordinate due diligence, valuation, legal documentation and loan drawdown.

Achieve agreed business, revenue and portfolio-quality targets while complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

At least five years’ experience in property financing, property-backed lending or mortgage financing, preferably serving Hong Kong SMEs.

Proven track record in originating and completing property-backed loan transactions.

Established network of SME customers and referral partners in Hong Kong.

Sound knowledge of credit assessment, financial analysis, loan structuring and property valuation.

Strong business development, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently.

Good command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
